In its research activities, the Centre for Public History collects testimonies and conducts interviews with witnesses of historical events, experts, historians and other relevant interlocutors. The CPH highlights oral history as an important segment of methodology, which is based on a civil interpretation of history and personal historical experiences. CPH associates have a long-standing experience in collecting testimonies and conducting interviews with both survivors and participants in the anti-fascist struggle, historians and other experts.

The Project of the Union of Jewish Municipalities of Serbia aiming at creating a digital archive of the Jewish community of Serbia before the Holocaust. The CPH co-founder, Ružica Dević, worked as a co-ordinator of the exhibition and a training program within the project and collected the testimonies of the survivors. More about the project :
