Professor of sociology at the Railway Technical School in Belgrade. She uses an interactive approach, as well as methods of active learning and critical thinking in her teaching practice. Her interests include theoretical aspects of gender-based violence and child abuse in the family. She is the author of a monograph, a sociological study entitled “Udarac po duši” (A Blow to the Soul) (IKSI and JCPD, 1998), as well as of around twenty articles in professional periodicals; she co-authored several teacher manuals.
In recent years, she has been engaged in including the teaching on the Holocaust in the regular school curricula. She attended several domestic and international seminars. She is the co-author of the accredited training programmes for teachers, educators and professional associates – Learning about the Holocaust, organised by the Group 484.
Since 2018, she has been one of the founders of the Centre for Public History, within which she works as a project associate and consultant.
